WHAT ARE THE INTERMEDIATE VOCATIONAL TRAINING DEGREES?

The intermediate degree vocational training qualifications will allow you to obtain the technical skills that are necessary to develop a job autonomously by using all the techniques, instruments and skills acquired from your studies. With these qualifications, you will be able to enter the labor market directly with the proper skills for your professional sector.
The length of the intermediate degree programs is two academic years and consists of 2,000 hours of classes that also include between 340 and 380 hours of training in companies for internships.
Once you acquire the degree, you will be able to access directly to other specialties at the intermediate degree level. Along with high school and higher degree programs, as long as you meet the requirements.
Requirements to Study Intermediate Degree Programs

- Have a degree in Compulsory Secondary Education.
- Have a degree in basic vocational training.
- Have passed the mandatory professional modules of an Initial Professional Qualification Program (PCPI).
- Have a degree in Post Compulsory Secondary Education
- Certificate certifying that they have passed all the Baccalaureate subjects.
- Have a college degree.
- Have a title of Specialist Technician or Superior Technician.
- Have a Bachelor’s degree.
- Have an Assistant Technician title.
- Have passed a specific training course for access to intermediate level training cycles, be 17 years old in the year of completion of the course and not meet other access requirements.
- Have passed the entrance exam to intermediate or higher level training cycles, or the university entrance exam for people over 25 years old and be 17 years old in the year of the test.
- Have a degree for access to higher degree training cycles.
