In our Sevilla centers we support the educational improvement in Vocational Training since the participative vision and the investigation with other european centers to continue advancing in the training of our students.

We are host centers, where we open our doors to students and teachers from other schools and countries. We work with other European Schools and host students who want to carry out specialized training and their apprenticeship in companies from Seville.

Students from the Dolores Sopeña Foundation:
With the objective to train the best professionals, the Dolores Sopeña Foundation intends to offer their students through the ERASMUS program, the opportunity to carry out a part of their theoretical and practical training in another european country, in order to form the best professionals. Not to mention that they attain their professional competences with the ability to work and communicate with other people overseas. By doing so, students are creating a stronger professional profile that is more competitive at every moment.
This general objective is specified in the following specific objectives:
Teachers of the Dolores Sopeña Foundation
With reference to the teachers, the Dolores Sopeña Foundation supports counting on highly qualified teachers, as a fundamental tool to overcome the quality training in students. For this reason, the Dolore Sopeña Foundation facilitates and animates the faculty to participate in the ERASMUS program, with the objective to learn about how other european schools function and create collaborating ties and agreements with schools and companies of other european countries.
Host Students/Teachers by the Dolores Sopeña Foundation
Therefore the Dolores Sopeña Foundation considers an enriched experience for all of the educational community. The host action of our school and collaborating companies, students and proceeding teachers of different european countries, that support our methodology and a global vision with innovation.
The Dolores Sopeña Foundation intends as a long term goal to create a network for exchanges of students and teachers which come from different european countries, creating an exchange program according to the outline of: “Duo System”: “student 1” resident in “country 1”carried our theoretical and practical training in “country 2”, host and accompanying for “student 2” and continuing that “student 2” will carry out theoretical and practical training in “country 1” hosted and accompanied by “student 1”
European Programs Department
The coordination of the ERASMUs stays will be carried out through the European Programs Department, with help of the Foreign Languages Department. This department has entrusted the following functions:
Cooperative Project : “Dual Training”
The principal objective of this project is the training of teachers in the methodology for the dual training, in which students share their training in the classroom and in a company simultaneously. Ee base the development on Royal Decree 1529/2012 of November 8 on the distinct learned modes, whether it is in-person, hybrid or online. The same for our installations and in the company.
This mode of professional training is new in Spain, therefore through student/teacher exchange with european centers where dual training is already instilled. It is intended to see the best subsystems of dual training in order to acquire the adequate qualification that permits design, development and evaluation of the project that develops within the company.
At least, a new necessity in our teachers: to acquire a plenary knowledge about the labor practices in the host countries to value the adaptation in distinct branches of their profession. They stays will be useful for teachers to exchange ideas and practices, along with opinions. The work will be fruitful as it helps everyone share their visions and establish goals for the established process of follow-up and evaluation.
The realization of the present project will suppose that participants have the power to improve their training capacities and develop innovative projects with companies. It will serve for their personal and professional development for which it will improve their professional, personal and social competences, not only permitting them to exercise to improve their profession, but orientate the productive sectors and companies in putting forth the education and professional capacity to the direct service of the employment.
Objectives
The economic crisis in which Spain has found itself immersed, has shot up the numbers of young unemployment, which obligates our students to look for the best qualifications. The Dolores Sopeña Foundation is very conscious of this situation and the difficulties that they will find students to get the first job, for this motive we support an “an innovative educational offer” adapted to the needs of the labor market each time that is more competitive.
The projects of international cooperation, previously mentioned, will permit to develop some innovative modes of Vocational Training that supposes and enrichments of the educational offers in our school based on:
Strengthening the international contact of our faculty members with other european training institutions and companies with the final objective to create a “European Job Network”, that helps us be permanently in cutting-edge international professional training.
The development of the european programs favor the modernization of the organization. The European Programs Department will give publicity and visibility (local, national and international) to obtain the impact by mobilities in the following areas:
Announcing informative meetings and forums (through the web page) in which they will enter in the contact with students/teachers that have carried out mobilities with the students/teachers interested in carrying out new mobilities, with the objective to transmit new experiences.
Through social networks: Linkedin, Twitter Youtube Channel and Facebook(http:www.facebook.com/sopenasevilla) in which they will publish articles and interviews of students/teachers that have carried out mobilities to other european countries as well as students and teachers that have been welcomed by our institutions.
